Randy and Rachel Brag have been involved with agriculture their entire lives and are very
active with it on a daily basis. Their children Krista, Whitney, and Molly have acquired a
passion for livestock. They have been showing livestock from a very young age and have
worked very hard and have achieved a long list of accomplishments with hogs, sheep,
horses, and dairy cattle.
In 2003 the girls were the North Dakota FFA Horse Judging Champions and competed at
nationals. The girls have been active in High School Rodeo, FFA, 4-H and many other youth
associations. Now they enjoy giving back to the associations by coaching and helping where
ever they can. The girls have grown up quickly and all got married in the summer of 2007. We
are really enjoy all the new son in laws.
Krista - I just graduated from North Dakota State University with a B.S. Degree in Range
Science and a minor in soil science. I am engaged and will be married in June 2007, and will
be moving to Washburn, North Dakota. For the work that I have done for NDSU, I received
2nd in the nation for the FFA Environmental Science and Natural Resources Placement
Proficiency. I got a surprise phone call one day and was chosen to be on the cover of the
August 2005 issue of the National FFA Magazine “New Horizons.” In my spare time I enjoy
training horses and participating in rodeos. In the spring my sister Whitney and I coach the
Rockin’ H, 4-H Hippology Team. We both like teaching and helping the younger kids expand
their knowledge of horses. I also enjoy researching horse pedigrees. My main goal is to
establish a reputable breeding program. I really enjoy raising horses with good conformation
and a calm attitude. I have attended clinics by local trainers as well as John Lyons about
natural horsemanship techniques. I also have trained horses for a few summers but now I
work with people and problem solving issues since my busy summer (lots of weddings!)
doesn't allow me much time for training. I also enjoy giving lessons, so let me know if you
need some help. The summer of 2006 I worked for a professional horse trainer and greatly
expanded my training knowledge. I also got to assist with semen collection, semen
preparation, A.I. and of course you cannot forget cleaning stalls. Krista & Jay Wedding Pics
Whitney – I am going to be a senior at NDSU. I am studying General Agriculture and pursuing
minors in Equine Science, Ag Economics, and Extension Education. I will be getting married
August 2007 and will be moving to Valley City, ND. I am an active member of the Saddle &
Sirloin club of NDSU and was very active in 4-H and FFA throughout high school. I got the
privilege to go to Nationals for FFA in Livestock Judging and Horse Judging while in high
school and the fall of 05 I went to the Denver Stock Show for 4-H Livestock Judging. As you
can tell I enjoy animals and working with horses and other livestock. I use to show market
hogs and sheep during the summer. Now I work with my horse’s year around and helped my
Dad put on our first show pig sale. I really enjoy the nutritional aspect of feeding animals and
figuring out rations. So give me a call if you would like some help. I received my equine
sports massage therapy certification and do massage during my free time. My background
with horses ranges from training, rodeoing, problem solving, and a wide knowledge in horse
heath. Whitney & Jory Wedding Pictures
Molly - I am the youngest of the family and I'll spent my freshman year at NDSU majoring in
Equine Science. I getting married in September 2007. So I will be moving to the central part
of the state and will probably attend Bismarck State College next fall. I was featured in the
National High School Rodeo Times Magazine, as February athlete of the month. Thank you to
Professional Choice for the SMX Air Ride saddle pad. (That was my spot-light of fame for
awhile.) Usually during the fall and spring I am very busy getting ready for rodeo season, and
during the summer I am showing my market hogs and lambs. Things don't slow down for me,
it seems as though I am always going somewhere with the pickup and trailer. I would like to
think of it as a road trip! This year I am done showing because I am getting married and
moving. However, my parents are hoping there will be grand kids to start showing next! I
would like to thank you for checking out our website, and thank my sister Krista for making
it. Feel free to call me. I enjoy spending time on the phone.
God Bless,
Randy, Rachel, Krista, Whitney & Molly
